haha I don't drink beer. How un-Aussie like of me :P

:thumbs::whistle: its okay WE forgive you!! I love coopers but I love vegemite to. I eat it every morning and I swear it makes me feel incredible!!! Kai got me SO hooked on it lol

Well I been depressed because I had hoped sydney would consider going with the 100% and my boss wrote out the letter stating that I annual make the 16828 but is willing to give me overtime to help me make the 125%

Its worded better then that of course LOL

I have a job interview today for a second job so I hope I get it..its 20 extra hours a week

07/17/08 Arrived and picked up by CSC

07/25/08 NOA-1 FINALLY!!!!

07/31/08 CHECK WAS CASHED!

07/28/08 touched!!

12/08/08 NOA2 FINALLY!

12/13/08 NOA2 received in the mail

12/18/08 Called NVC at (603)334-0700 and talked to a nice lady named Rose. Our case was received on the13th and was sent out to sydney...WE WILL SEE!

12/13/08 NVC received letter and said they sent out to Sydney

12/18/08 received letter in the mail from NVC.

12/19/08 another letter from NVC stating it was shipped out

12/24/08 ARRIVED IN SYDNEY at 10:26 am and signed by tom

12/29/08 CONFIRMED it is at Sydney and Good ol Tom did sign for it LOL THANKS TOM!!

12/29/08 Sydney waiting for paper file from nvc and has it requested

12/31/08 Sydney confirmed through email that the paper file was received

01/05/09 His police checks are done and sent off!!

01/28/09 Kai went to his medicals forgot one of his passport pics and needs two more shots all was good!

2/18/09 medicals ready to be picked

2/20/09 packet 3 sent in

2/26/09 pkt 3 received today takes UP to 10 days

04/07/09 interview....APPROVED!!!!

04/20/09 He flew in ..flight was changed he was 3 hours late BUT HE IS HOME

port of entry took 2 mins!! LOL

04/25/09 WE ARE MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!

I just cant get into Vegemite at all... my finace had me try it once and it was entirely unpleasant! I cant even stand the smell of it. I much prefer the aussie pies and pasties as my Australian food stuff of choice. Tim Tams and Natural confectionery gummies are nice too!

I have a question regarding DS-230I.......do you send just the first 2 pages of this back to consulate firstly without all other documentation?.....OR.....do you wait till you have all other forms etc done and send back in the one packet?

I was under impression I sent all back together.

we sent that page back ahead of time. I think if you are close to sending the rest of the info you could just probably send it all at once.

Oi mate...I love me vegemite on toast MMMM MMM GOOD!!

PLUS it is filled with vitamins!!! More then the ones I was taking!!

Since may 15th I have lost almost 100 lbs (my job makes me sweat like a pig and tons of walking and lifting!!)

So vegemite gives me the added energy i really need.

Vegemite is sexy food!

I think I shall wear it as perfume!!!

(I KNOW I KNOW you all think I am off my rocker!!!) HAHAHAHAHA :thumbs::whistle::innocent:

That's putting it mildly :P

One wiff of the stuff had me running the other direction! I wasn't keen on much of the food there, short of Tim Tams and rissoles. Oh, and real Cadbury chocolate. I would kill for a bar of Top Deck!

12th April 08 - Married in Australia

21st April 08 - Mailed off I-130 but with incorrect title on cheques

30th April 08 - USCIS returned petitions requesting correct title on cheques

2nd May 08 - Mailed out I-130s again! Finally on our way!!!

9th May 08 - NOA-1

7th Nov 08 - Tranferred to CSC

4th Dec 08 - Approved!!!

22nd Dec 08 - NVC # assigned

23rd June 09 - Case Complete at NVC (We slowed down the process on purpose to time interview accordingly)

18th August 09 - Medical

25th August 09 - Interview Date - Approved!!!

19th February 10 - POE L.A (No dramas, just SLOW)

2nd March 10 - Welcome to America Letter

dont forget you can get your ammune testing for the vaccinations done at your local doctor ... go to the sydney embassey website to look at the medical forms and requirements...

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Congrats! We just mailed off our packet 3 today. Here are somethings I wish I knew at that stage:

The packet three you get mailed to you is the *same* exact info you can get on the website. In fact ours was just an address to go to the website. :wacko: So really you can get started on everything well before you get that packet. They dont want you sending anything to the embassy before they've contacted you though. However at the very least you can get started, order your certificate (if not mailing direct to the consulate) etc.

Our police certificate took 3 weeks to arrive, I'd definitely get started on that now if you happen to be in Victoria!

hmm.. youre not a k-1 though, so you may have different info you need.
