Yes much appreciated Kath....as you can tell am going through the final (have I got it all right syndrome).

Hopefully will get Interview by end of January 09.....wife to be Sandi isnt sending the I-134 till Friday 12th December.....so with the xmas mail rush on I may not get before xmas....no probs, have until 4th March to get interview so should be fine.

Again appreciate the help, and by the way you are in Ohio? moving closeby to Maryland (hopefully) then to Pittsburgh.....Pennysylvania, after a few months.

I have a question for people who have done their interview in the past 3 -4 months. Did you all submit all your supporting paperwork and photocopies with the checklist to sydney or did you just submit the checklist? The paperwork says to submit it all at once but I've seen other people in the past mention that they took the paperwork with them to the interview?

Hey ananx- I submitted everything on the checklist to them by mail with the exception of one item (my Japanese police certificate) which I didnt receive back until the day before the interview so I just took that along with me.

HUGE QUESTION

My cosponser backed out in fear of having to pay even though I explained it all to them.

I make 16,292 a year and also receive SSI of 572 a month (from a nasty car wreck) that equals 6864 extra

and I am out job hunting for a part time job now (PRAY I GET IT) With what I have now will THAT be okay or no??????

We are so stressed out i been bawling..BUT still holding my head high because I will do whatever I will to get him home!!

CONGRATS KATH!!!!!!! No more immigration for you.......unless you decide to go for citizenship.

Yep I'm still waiting (10 months now) but I'm sure by early 2009 something will happen.........I hope I notice that there has been an approval for a January lodgement, so it's getting closer.

How was Thanksgiving? We got pounded with Lake effect snow which caused power outages, so no Turkey dinner at the rellies. Few phone calls and we braved the roads to go eat out LOL.

Hope everyone elses visa journeys are going smoothly.

I make the 100% for 2 people (me and him) but not enough for the 17500% (almost though at 16262) My question is does the Sydney embassy go by 100% for the k1 visa or do they go by the 125%

i been searching and no luck anywhere

take a look at the link below...read all the posts..its 125% ... 100% is only for military...read the guidelines for the affidavit of support it also states it in there....

bah was HOPING for the K1 visa they would go with the 100% WHICH would give me more time to find a second job to make up the 125%

I dont own a home I own one good car one crappy car...SO im out and about job hunting..I just need 12 hours a week and we will be good to go..

Congrats Kath, I am behind Densusan and VSC is sooo slloooww..

but at least we are together. Reading the rest of this thread and catching up on about 4 pages it brings back all the other waiting... so much worse than this. Hang in there, the journey can be a rollercoaster for the emotions but it is worth it in the end.

I will be glad when I finally hear about the 10 year card though, cos I was one who never got a noa and only have a stamp until March 09
