YAY Stellar!! The BIIIIIIIIIIIG wait is now over for you guys, hopefully. My head has finally stopped spinning at the speed that our K1 moved once it got out of CSC!!!

Now it's time for the real stress on the non-USC, you feel soooo responsible and want to make sure you have every little detail correct for the interview. BTW the medical and the interview is a breeze so don't stress over it, unlike some ppl around here!!

Welcome Aleidayn, as you enter I am about to exit for a little while, til we start stressing over the next stage of our journey after we get married. Good luck to you and everyone on their journey and keep in mind the reward at the end of it is well worth it!!!

Thanks guys :) I'm in NSW, Sydney way. Lol, young, I dunno. I've just turned 30 and James is 24. I'm lucky to still have him over in Sydney for a few months more through this whole waiting thing. I read about a lot of people being so far apart and I feel really lucky to still have that at the moment.

We were pondering at first whether to go the whole lawyer route but after I discovered this site it helped a whole lot to know exactly what we needed to do and yeah, the lawyer idea went out the window. Waiting for the NOA1 was hard enough, I'm trying not to get addicted to checking the case status lol, it's easy to do  . Instead we're saving money, planning a wedding of sorts and waiting it out as everyone has to. Yep, definitely worth it

Hiya, you can just call me Ally, much easier :) Yeah we are currently thinking about DCF now a bit more seriously but we don't have a lot of extra money to spend. If things arent too bad we may be able to do that instead. After all, the sooner the better!

James is on an ETA which as you probably know is valid for 12 months with 3 month maximum stays, renewing upon reentry into the country so technically, June but it's possible he will be here a bit longer. We don't know much about the whole DCF process though. We're waiting for the approval on the I-129F, so I'm not sure what would happen with that.

Freaking out here a little bit... :o

I rang aussie post today to see if the visas had been sent by the embassy as yet. No they hadn't. Okay so I sent them an email asking if they had any idea as to when they would be, as I had to finalise payment on airline tickets etc...

I know, I know, we had easter so there will be a delay, I wish I never emailed now or am hoping that someone will say, without hesitation, that the response I got from them this afternoon is just a canned response...

This is the answer I got: "YOUR APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY WITH THE CONSULAR OFFICER FOR FINAL ADJUDICATION. ONCE HE HAS APPROVED YOUR APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE, THE VISA WILL BE ISSUED AND MAILED TO YOU."

THANK YOU

Sincerely,

Visa Assistant

I thought we had already been approved??? What does this mean?
