if you look in previous posts or in my posts there are links and forms posted for the vaccination sheet...

you get blood tests to see if you ammune...get it put on medicare...then get your doc to print out and sign the results of the tests for you to take with you to the medical..also save anything the pathologist gives you as receipts at what date you had it taken...also they have to sight your passport and a form to be signed too..

hope its not too much longer before you get your NOA2...

we had an absolute storm yesterday..it threw it down...i couldnt believe how much rain came down.. the thunder sounded like it was surround sound inside the apartment thats how loud it was...wish i could push the rain towards oz though....

someone please hand me a slap stick....

ok...

i read in someone's post - kath i think it was .... i was reviewing all your posts for any helpful links...

and i noticed that it was said that a fee had to be paid for the biometrics.....

is that for the K1 visa? 129F?....

because we sent in the 126f form as well as the 325a form (if thats the right letter or number)..... and paid the initial fee that is stated on the uscis website...

is there more?

i know i have to pay a fee at the embassy for processing?

........

oh and tomorrow am heading to the medical clinic to get a referral for the blood tests......

and next week will start on the police checks.....

hopefully this will nudge it all and make it move quicker!

in what context did i use the word biometrics ... your biometrics fee is for fingerprints only relating to AOS after you get over here and get married mate..

the fee you have to pay at the embassey is $130AU money paid at any australia post office..did you find the vaccination sheet i was referring to before to help you ask what you need to be tested for mate...

take care

Oh, one more thing to add to my post. I just received an email notice it was transferred to the CSC for processing (reason for touch). I hear they are a big Service Center so I hope it means processing will be done soon. I posted a question on the IR-1 / CR-1 forum about procedures when this happens. A member replied and said it gets queued along with the people for the same NOA1 date. Since Poi_n_J and I have close dates as far as NOA1s are concerned, I hope it means that it will be processed within this month *FINGERS CROSSED*.

Hi all,

We just received the following email from the Sydney. I do not need a police certificate from Japan. Thank goodness as I was not in the mood for flying to Tokyo for a few days!! Also, they did not explain as to why they sent a letter stating I needed this certificate because I lived overseas for more than 6 mths. I definately will be bringing this up at my interview!! They also stated that I indicated I lived in Japan for more than 12mths. Perhaps they should rewrite the forms to allow you to write specific dates. ie mm/dd/yy to mm/dd/yy and not just mm/yy to mm/yy?!

Anyway, thanks again for all your advice about this!

email from the consulate -

To have sent her the Japanese police certificate she would have noted

on

her biographic data, form DS-230 Part 1 that she resided in Japan for a

year.

If she did not live in Japan for 12mths or longer, she should not apply

for one, however, as she has already indicated that she did live for a

year in Japan, she should bring all passports with her, specifically

the

one used for entry into and departure from Japan, in the event the

consular officer would like to verify the exact length of time spent in

Japan.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Visa Assistant

Immigrant Visa Unit

U.S. Consulate General

Sydney, Australia

11-05-06 Sent I-130 to California

06-01-07 INTERVIEW

06-04-07 Received VISA in the mail. Silly Consulate issued me CR-1 instead of IR-1, no time to change it in Australia, will try to change it once in California.

06-10-07 POE SFO

06-21-07 Receive SSN#

07-12-07 Receive Green Card in the mail STILL HAD CR1 INSTEAD OF IR1

12-10-07 Finally sent I-90 asking for a new green card with correct info.

06-17-08 INFOPASS - Was told USCIS sent new green card to old address back in Jan. Will resend it but may not be able to correct error as it was made by Consulate not USCIS.

What to do now??
