27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

No there is no other way .... that you can have USCIS to touch your case..........unless you request an address change or some correction or send in more documents or corrected documents.........

My fiance changed his address last week (August 10th) and we don't have any 'touches' - it just shows 'Initial Review'. I'm obsessed and check it several times throughout the day. Not that I'm raring to go or anything!

My fiance changed his address last week (August 10th) and we don't have any 'touches' - it just shows 'Initial Review'. I'm obsessed and check it several times throughout the day. Not that I'm raring to go or anything!

Sometimes updates in the USCIS website is not reliable.

Is there any way to get USCIS to 'touch' my application? Or do I just have to check their website for the next 6 months?

I am applying for AOS from within the US, through marriage to a USC. I totally feel the same way, it's very hard waiting with no response whatsoever. I called USCIS yesterday though and they said approvals can happen without anyone ever "touching" your file, and not to worry about the date status online. Not very helpful...

07/01/2010 - I-485, I-765 and I-130 sent to Chicago lock box
07/03/2010 - package signed for in Chicago
07/12/2010 - text and email notification received
07/17/2010 - hard copy NOA1s received in mail
07/19/2010 - received biometrics letter (scheduled for August 12th)
07/22/2010 - unsuccessful walk-in biometrics in Brooklyn
07/28/2010 - successful walk-in biometrics in Brooklyn
08/24/2010 - EAD card approved (54 DAYS)
08/31/2010 - I-765 touched, post decision activity, email notification of EAD approval
09/01/2010 - I-765 touched
09/03/2010 - EAD card received
09/21/2010 - Interview Date! 9:45 am. APPROVED (83 DAYS). I-551 Stamp.
09/21/2010 - Card/ Document Production
09/29/2010 - Welcome letter received

I did-- but there are so many of them! i joined the one for AOS based on concurrent I-130 filing (spouse) from tourist/ work visa in the USA. I think that is the right one for me... :blink:
