My wife has a fairly large Wedding Album. It is called a taichi style wedding album - roughly translating to "suitcase" style wedding album. Needless to say it is very big and very heavy and will be hard to lug around for extended periods of time.

Those of you who have attended the interview at the Embassy already, I have some questions on this:

1) How big is the slot in the interview window at the Embassy? I have heard you can push papers through, folders, packets and even small binders. I am concerned about how to bring a large wedding album if I cannot push it through the slot at the window.

2) What size and weight wedding album did you take to the Embassy? Does the Embassy prefer to see the actual wedding album? How might they react to simply viewing a large number of photos printed on regular paper? Or printed photos glued to cardstock style paper ?

Just take out a few sample photos (5-10) to show them, that is sufficient. :yes: They are too busy to go through a huge album, especially when it won't fit through the window!

Hi,

Slot at the interview window is very small just to pass documents. Regarding wedding pictures I would recommend to take pictures of different ceremony(5-7 each) and make into one album like an 8x10 size.. Sometimes officer don't even ask to see the pictures..
