is it goood apply for the visitor visa to see my ill wife who is already filed for I-130 for me. her condition is worse and i have doctor letter to prove it. i need to see her immediately. we just got NOA2 APPROVED.

Just have your wife call NVC and request your case expedited on Medical Emergency grounds. If you guys have proof ofher illness it will be approved and you will get CR1 visa faster than the visitors Visa.

Yes if its serious, then it can be expedited or you can apply for temp B1/B2 visa, but you will have to make your self clear to CO that you will not be immigrating thru this visa, you would return back to complete the process.

I just received B1/B2 for work purpose while my application was in the process.

hi guys!!

thanks to all for the support. you guys helped alot. my wife is doing a little better now. They have expedited our case. shortly after after case move to NVC , now it moved to the local office of petitior (chennai). I have interview (chennai consulate emailed me with a date) scheduled but we did not have any chance to file our AOS or anything after our case moved to NVC/chennaiconsulate . i am confused .. what would they ask in the interview and documents needed..

anyone knows..
