Hi

I had my GC in 2007. I applied for I-751 in 2009, had a second interview 6months later. It did not go so well because I had lived in another state prior which I did not mention. They said I will hear from them but I haven't since that interview. Its about a year since the interview. At the interview he took these information before i left: my cell phone number! wiered I thought!

Anybody with a similar story? Will I even receive it? Any sugestions?

I was there a few monts ago and receivd a stamp for 6months renewal. This will expire very soon and I plan on going for another renewal while the case is still pending.

make an infopass quick, and let them know what is going on with your case, if nothings is resolved then you have to contact your local congressman immediately for further action.

When i got my status renewed about 7months ago, I did the infopass process to get it renewed. I had gone to inquire about the status of my case. The lady I met with went upstairs to look into my file and came back to say the consular said he has still not made a decision. That was why she gave me th 6month extention which is about to expire and why I must go again to inquire.

what influence will my local congressman have? Has one be of help to you before?

I had lived in another state before which I did not mention because I thought it wsn't necessaryso it looked like "with-holding information" which they discovered.
