Hi all!!

So I have sent my DS 3032. Paid the IV bill. Paid the AOS bill. But still no instruction packet from the NVC?!

Its been over 8 weeks since I paid the bills.

If you have paid online, why don't you print out barcode sheet and send the IV and AOS package to NVC?

What instruction packet are you talking about ? For the AOS ?

We never recieved an instruction packet for anything. We had paid our bills in februari and i was getting really worried come may when we still hadn't recieved any news or anything. We called up the NVC and they told us as soon as soon as NVC recieves your bills you can go ahead and send the AOS and DS-230 package ( so why the ****does it say don't take any further actions without notifaction of the NVC). Wasted almost 2 months and a half waiting for package/news!!!!

So we assembled our own packet, information on www.immigrantvisas.state.gov

I would say call up NVC asap and ask them what is going on ( NVC :001 603 334 0700)

08/12/2010 Interview date assigned

O8/19/2010 Medical 1st appointment

08/26/2010 Medical 2nd appointment passed!!!

09/07/2010 Interview Brussels Embassy at 2pm!!!!!!! VISA APPROVED!!!!!

09/18/2010 Our daughters 1st birthday: without daddy :((((

09/21/2010 POE ALASKA FINALLYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

NVC's snail mail will arrive in couple of months time :-)

Act everything online and by email as much as possible to avoid NVC delay.

I kow how you are feeling( i'm still mad about it :angry: ), but just call up the NVC and get confimation that you can send it off now. It's always best to talk to an operator, they got the info on your case right in front of them!

Make sure your trays and seat backs are in their up-right positions, its going to be a hell of a ride on USCIS Airways.

Yeah, I remember our olden days in Apr/May 2008. We started this online NVC process, after their introduction. 19 days of yours is SUPER DUPER fast!!! I took less than a month.

did you pay online, using the online payment portal?

If you have 'no forms' - hei ! time to download !

and make sure you have the civil documents for the DS-230 (plus regular photocopy)

'Waiting on NVC' to 'send you something' is a futile exercise, and actually will delay your case processing at NVC.
