hi

my wife came here to usa thru marraige with me i am a US citizen. after she she came here and got her green card for 2 years, we moved from massachusetts to mississippi and now is the time to file for I-751 for her

my question is

do i have to file a AR-11 form for the address change or can i just put this new address on for I 751

I would recommend sending both of them in. They may not process an address change unless it comes in on the address change form. The form is free anyway and doesn't take much time.

" In addition to changing your address for a pending application the law requires that all non-U.S. citizens, except for holders of A or G visas, report a change of address within 10 days of moving by completing a USCIS Form AR-11, Change of Address. "

Considering its on the USCIS website stating the law requires that all non- US citizens report a change of address within 10 days of moving. Yes report a change of address.

Should be, we moved only a few blocks from where we used to live and had to update the address, we got the confirmation pretty quickly in the mail.

Change the address and keep copies - rule of thumb. If they ever question it, then you have proof.

The I-864 sponsor is also required to submit form I-865 for their change of address.
