skype call history

My husband and I just started using skype. I know this question has been asked before, but I never read it because we didn't need it then!

How do I print our call history?

We aren't using cams right now, just calling pc to pc and I need the history (tho it's only gonna be a few days) for the interview.

Good day!!..we also didn't know how we can save and print skype call logs..what we do was since we you skype eversince, we just took interval dates like 5 days per month then copy and pasted it on MSWord then printed it!!...as for you, you can copy,paste&print everything since you just had it for quite sometime..just make sure to black out those words/phrases that you don't want to be read by the consulate officer..hehehe...have a good day!! In your Skype window, click the "Conversations" tab, then look for a little button called "Show History" and click that.

You can also select what type of call history you want to filter, such as Incoming, Outgoing, Missed and IMs etc. Right click your desired entry and you can view history up to 6 months... from there, I don't see a way to export the list into something like Excel or Word yet, but you can take screenshots and print them out.

That should be better than nothing, I hope!

Hi everyone!

I was able to get all of our skype convos on a word file..

When you open the skype conversation window, pres Alt+Print screen(or PRTSC/SYSRQ), then go to the word file and press Ctrl+V..

This will take a screen shot of ur skype window and paste it onto the word file!

ps: Just make sure you click on the skype window first so you don't take a screen shot of ur whole desktop!

For others who have a very long Call History to download/print, you can use Skype Call Exporter. You must already be logged in to your Skype account (Skype GUI open) for this to work because you will have to "allow access" to your Skype archives.

You can save the program as a csv (can save/convert later to xls) or html file. If you have a pdf printer, then you can print into pdf.

Wow, that Skype Call Exporter worked amazingly. Just tried it now and it shows all the way to the beginning of when my husband and I first started using it. Already have 4 months worth of calling and it's five pages long. By the end of all this, I'll have a hell of a lot more pages as proof!
