Hello Everyone,

I sent my RFE response to the National Benefits Center on Thursday 08/12/2010 to the same address as it shown on the RFE letter:

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

P.O. Box 648005

Lee's Summit, MO 64002

I was tracking the delivery on USPS site and that what I saw today:

We attempted to deliver your item at 9:38 am on August 14, 2010 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64002 and a notice was left. You may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice, go to www.usps.com/redelivery, or call 800-ASK-USPS to arrange for redelivery. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

Detailed Results:

Notice Left, August 14, 2010, 9:38 am, LEES SUMMIT, MO 64002

Sorting Complete, August 14, 2010, 7:51 am, LEES SUMMIT, MO 64081

Arrival at Unit, August 14, 2010, 4:58 am, LEES SUMMIT, MO 64081

Processed through Sort Facility, August 13, 2010, 9:56 pm, KANSAS CITY, KS 66106

Processed through Sort Facility, August 12, 2010, 8:46 pm, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32203

Acceptance, August 12, 2010, 10:52 am, DAYTONA BEACH, FL 32114

Does it make sense that if you deliver for a P.O. box they will leave a notice?\

does anyone here experience the same problem? will USCIS will go and pick up the package or I need to do something about it?

Thanks,

Hi,

Being that it is a weekend and most Govt offices are open MOn - Fri this is normal because somebody from the USCIS will have to go to the post office and sign for it. Wait until Monday and check again in the evening and I am sure you will see it was recieved. This is normal procedure for the post office. I say don't worry!!

Best of Luck to you!!

reply to my own question.

USPS re-delivered on Monday by themselves. I didn't have to do anything.
