Mexico has already stated that they are against any measures taken by the USA to increase border security. The fact that they provide maps of the best way across is a clear enough indicator if one was needed.

The only side of the border that will do anything to increase security is the US side. Sooner or later, we will have to. All it will take is one major incident on US soil to force a change. But that would be one major incident too many when we have the capability to enforce border security now.
