Congrats on getting the EAD cards :)

My EAD actually arrived in the mail the exact same day as my Green Card.

Oh yes, the irony.. but it IS really pretty!

I like the color picture on the EAD better than the bw picture on the GC

I'm keeping my EAD for now and waiting to see if any letter will come asking for it back... :unsure:

Jim, take the cards to the party - have each person attending (Not yer family) hold up the cards, under their faces, take a photo (or 100 photos)

then show the cards with the food, then by the beer, then then then..

You get the idea.

In a few years, will be something great to laugh about.

(Alternatively, take the kids in on Monday for SSA office, get SSNs )

I told my wife about your idea last night. She gave me one of those "Are you out of your mind?" looks. :P

I'm sort of hoping they don't ask for them to be returned, like a few others have mentioned. It's their first US government issued ID, and they do look pretty cool and would make good souvenirs.

Dunno if we'll have time to go to the SSA office. The local office typically has about a 1 hour wait, and we're going to be pretty busy over the next couple of days.

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
