hi! im lai from the philippines... i just wanna ask few questions about the requirements needed for the crba of my daughter...

my husband who is a us citizen, is in the us right now. i already have the packet of the crba of my daughter and some of the requirements and documents needed and i will be the one to go with her during the interview....

my questions are..

1.) my husband just send me a notarized copy of his passport. is it ok that its just a notarized copy or do i really need the original passport?

2.) the notarized copy was just the first page.. (biographic page) but the page that are stamped (exit / entry ) are not notarized.. is it ok? or he really need to notarized it?

3.) in the form ds-5507 partIII. does he have to sign it(in fornt of a lawyer and let it notarized) before sending it back to me or he will just leave it blank and i will be the one who will sign for it during the interview in front of a consul officer adminestering the oath?

i hope someone out there would help me and give me some ideas.. thanks you!

ANYWAY I WE JUST FINISH YESTERDAY OF MY SON'S INTERVIEW AT THE EMBASSY FOR HIS CRBA. AND THE CONSUL ASKING THE CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF MY HUSBAND PASSPORT INCLUDING THE VISA PAGES THAT HAS A STAMP PROOF THAT HE CAME HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES. I DONT KNOW IF ITS OK THAT HE JUST NOTARIZED IT AND ITS JUST THE BIOGRAPHICAL PAGE, FOR ME ASK TELL IT AGAIN TO YOUR HUSBAND THAT HE NEED TO CERTIFIED IT, I THINK AT THE ISSUING OFFICE OF THE PASSPORT IN THE STATES INCLUDING THE VISA PAGES. AND ABOUT THE FORM OF DS-5507 I CANT REMEMBER THAT PART,

i was done interview to my son last july 27th and we approved without dna test.. and so happy for that madali lng ang inteview sa consul..the problem only is consent form it was expired. so the consul gave me the consent form that i need to send it to my hubby to notarize there again. coz our consent form it was more than 90 days, so its already expired...un lng but were approved. so when i submit our new consent form to ACS, they will deliver it my son uspassport/certificate of crba as soon as i submit new consent form..

about ds-5507 i already filled it out even my husband is not with me.

u can PM sis lai..so that i can giv my cover letter what i send documents there... all original documents needed so that you can't avoid for dna test. sis...

yah kasal kami ng husband ko before i gave birth... thanks for the advice...

1.) ung bang sa ds-5507 eh ako na lng ang mag fi-fill up and pipirmahan ko na lng ba during ng inverview sa consul...

2.) and about sa passport.. he just send me his passport.. bale nag padala rin sya ng naka notarized copy.. ok na ba un?!

Mas maganda nga kasal kau.. kahit di nga kasal na aapproved basta complete lng ng requirements sis.

1. Ung ds-5507 na na filled out ko yan sa bahay pero di lahat na filled out ko sya meron naman dun nakalagay kung san ka lng mag fill up sis kasi kasal kau eh. at di naman need ng consul yan eh ang ds-5507 basta nag fill up lng me.. ang importante dun ang ds-11 ds-2029 at ds-3053 ung consent form na un with notarized ng hubby u dun sa US.

2.uu padala nya original passport,his BC,transcript record of school,kung may military record sya basta ung 5 yrs na un na katunayan na US cetizen sya sis.. sis lai add u me para bigay ko ang ibang info ok Maridelsingleton@yahoo.com chat tau..

ang sa akin sis dalwang folder tlgang malalaki un ang sabi nga sa akin ng filipina interviewer ang dami daw.. eh mas mmaganda marame para ma satisfied sila sa mga documents namin para di kme ma dna test...ung iba kung kasama kasi na request sila ng dna because seguro kulang documents sis..
