Hello everyone I'm a Canadian woman married to an American man. Married for 7yrs with 3 children. Got married in 2003, so I decided I wanted to move to the States to be with my husband. Did our paperwork only to find out we filed the WRONG ones. That held us back almost 2yrs. We filed the proper documents now. My husband decided to come to Canada to be with his family, but we have no intentions on living in Canada. So he came over unable to work. Finally got our interview in Montreal, Quebec. It went fairly well, BUT my husband did have enough supporting evidence showing DOMICILE (e.g., evidence of having paid money due under any lease or mortgage, utility bills in the Petitioner's name, employment or school enrollment, etc.). So here's where we at now. My husband recently went back to the United States to accumulate DOMICILE. Also immigration needs visa application form(DS-230) parts I and II and application fees of $400.00U.S.

Can anyone tell me what DOMICILE my husband should be getting to show the AMERICAN CONSULATE IN MONTREAL,QUEBEC. And how much domicile should he accumulate. Also the length of period of time.

PLEASE HELP!!! We've been doing this for how many years now, we just want to start OUR lives!!!
