Clearly broken status on USCIS.gov

I went to check my status today. Something caught my husbands eye that I have not noticed before, so I don't know if it's just happening today, or if it's been like this all along.

Our last touches are all being listed as in 2009. Seeing as we didn't file until 2010, this is obviously wrong.

Not only that, but if you ignore the year issue, some of the dates have also changed and went back in time. Example: The last time I saw my AP was touched was July 19 (2010, although I can't remember if the site said 2010 or not). It now says July 6 (2009). Same issue with EAD: Last time I personally saw it was touched (and I check daily) was August 5, 2010, but my "Last Updated" on the site now says August 6, 2009. AOS is saying 4/21/2009 when I hadn't even filed by that date.

Don't get me wrong, I know the site is often broken and doesn't update every touch for every person. I'm mostly just curious if anyone else has had THIS particular problem.

edit: Hahah, as I post this I had my husband log in on the other computer to see what it did, and everything is back to how I had seen it before, all 2010 dates and logical months and whatnot. Figures!!

That's a really strange error. I wonder if you may have accidentally typed an incorrect case number and just lucked into viewing someone else's case? Odd but....it seems more likely than a computer system screwing up dates like that. I don't think there is anything wrong from a software standpoint with the system - most of the issues I think people have with it are human error based.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.

Couldn't be an incorrect number-- Ours are saved under our login, via My Portfolio.

Are you sure you weren't looking at your K1 info? I did that once accidentally. I was confused until I realized it was the K1 case number and not AOS.

They didn't even have online tracking back when I did my K1 (over 3 years ago), so not that either.

Okay..that makes sense lol. We had so much trouble with online tracking during K1 that I hardly trust the system at all, but that is pretty crazy that they would show your updates as happening before your filing date. :)
