Hey Folks

I just had a thought which developed into a question.! Once the Medical is done in Montreal, can they just send them to the Consulate...I only have 1 day, 1 night there...so I am wondering now how getting the resutls works.

Thanks Much

Had my medical done at Medisys, took 4 days for results. They do not send it to the consulat you bring it because you have to hand it over at the window in the cosulat to them.

If your going to DR Seidens, hope you get better treatment than I did. I payed less at medisys and got way better treatment there than DR Seidens. Other then that I dont know their results turn around.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks for reply. I am going to Medisys, I guess I'll give them a call next week to see if they can mail/courier the results to me. I only have limited time from work to do this and its a 10 hour drive.; so fingers crossed they can mail them off to me. Thanks again.

They should be able to mail you it, they asked if i wanted it mailed or if i wanted to pick it up. I picked it up because I lived really close. I think they charge a little extra for the mailing part but I cant remember.

Hi jken,

I went through Medysis as well, and when I was there, I picked up the results of another VJ member because they do not mail them out. She had to mail me a letter authorizing me picking up her results...

Call them, but unless they`ve changed their procedures, you might want to make another appointment and pick them up early in the morning before your interview (they open at 7:30 I think)

Good luck!

I've never heard of someone being able to pick up their results the next day in Montreal. I had my medical in Toronto at Dr. Seiden's office, and I know they advertise 48 hour service at both of their locations. I think 48 hours is the best you're going to be able to get.

Your options would be to to go to Montreal a few days early so the results would be ready in time for the interview, or you can have the medical done, go home, have them ship your medical results to you, and then you can mail them back to Montreal. The second option may take months for you to see your visa. Montreal is very slow receiving and processing their mail.

Or, if you live anywhere near Toronto, you can have the medical done there early.

Medisys told Mathew that he couldn't pick his results up any sooner than 3 days when he did his. Unless they've changed their policies I don't think you'll be able to do them both in one day unless you want to delay your visa. Montreal wont issue your visa without the medical so you'd be waiting for them to eventually open up all of their mail, process that, print the visa, and then mail it to you. That would at the very least add a month, but probably more(at least by what we've been seeing when other VJers have had to send them something).

It's pretty simple - you READ THEIR WEBSITE - and this wouldn't have happened!

It's basically a doctors office, why anyone would assume you could get this stuff same day or next day, is beyond me.

I did read their web site which also states mediclas are done mon, tues, and wed mornings...but i have an appt for friday a.m., it also states for a fee they will mail them to me, but have also been told otherwise. I was inquiring if thye could mail them to me or if thye mail them to consulate. I don 't even have my interview date as of yet. So thanks but no thnaks for your 'kind'words.

Medisys doesnt always follow to a 'T' what their website says. They have a lot of people come through there for K-1s, CR1 and many other travel related appointments. I was asked if I wanted it mailed to ME but they said they cant mail it to the embassy. I was also told (before I went) they only take cash but when I got there she asked if I was paying check, cash or visa/mastercard.

Jken, just ask when you call or when you go for the appointment ask the woman at the desk. I think the best answer you will likely get is from them directly! :)
