I'm not sure I'd want to camp there. There are things in that jungle that will scare the pants off of most Americans. My wife's uncle caught a giant red centipede in an empty water bottle while we were walking on one of the trails. They planned to cook it, but he told me that one bite from that thing is deadly. :blink:

LOL, why would they want to cook centipede anyway? Does it even has meat? I heard some people tried to cure malaria by eating certain kind of centipede though.

I haven't got a clue. They caught it in an empty water bottle. When they showed it to me I thought it was pretty cool - about 6" long and 1/2" thick, dark brown with bright red legs. When they told me it was deadly I wondered why they hell they even bothered to catch it!

The next day Phuong and I got on a plane at Da Nang airport and they went back to Hue in the bus we'd rented, so I don't know if they really ate it. I think I don't want to know... :wacko:
