Hi,

I got my case completed last August 10 and now I have read some of you have already an interview appointment. I just called the NVC and ask how long will it take to have an interview date and they answered it will depend already on the consulate of US Embassy here in Manila. Now can you help me about it on how to request to have an interview appointment as soon as possible since they have not assigned it yet.. I envy those people who have it already....

You're just going to have to wait for now. They've been scheduling interviews this week at NVC. Other people who have already gotten their interviews most likely live in a different country than yours, with probably a lower number of emigrants. Ergo, getting an interview date is pretty effortless for them.

Call NVC next week and check on it then. Good luck.

Will probably get an EMail today... NVC usually assigns dates in the first two weeks of the month for the following month.

Unless things have changed since last year.

Regards,

you can request to move your interview to an earlier date only AFTER:

After your case is forwarded to your embassy!

before it arrives at the embassy, most (all???) will not allow you to move it to an earlier date.

good luck, and hope they give you your interview soon!! (end of the month if you are lucky??)
