I have an update which is really a "non-update". I called the toll-free number today, as suggested by the auto response on the timeline thingy here, because my I-130 is past the average time it takes for processing. Though I did get to talk to a live person, they merely quoted back to me the same dates and processing times available from the USCIS site.

Am I mistaken or is there really no value in calling them until the date on the processing page at USCIS is past?

It sad but the truth and even then it still doesn't make sense. Sometimes ppl get lucky but for the majority is the same thing.

Michael and Milah Jean can be official removed from the K-3 list. Milah Jean was scheduled for her CR-1 interview at Manila on March 15 and was approved!!! Strange, the K-3 interview was scheduled AFTER the CR-1 was scheduled...we're withdrawing the petition, so this might open a slot for April 23 for a pending K-3 or K-1 at Manila. Good luck to all!!!

I need little help please.

My wife is finally arrived on Friday on K3 visa. Now I have to file I-1485 and I-765 (Employment) am I right? For I-485 what I have to choose Under PART2 Applicate type category? She is on k3.

Also she cannot apply Social security? am I right?

I went to DMV yesterday for ID but they told me they need proff of resident (any type of letter mailed to her on this address) and then copy of passport they will send this to Richmond and after that she is eligible for ID. Is this is right?

Please answer me fast because I want to file her paperworks before Thursday and u all know all application fee;s jumping to 3 times from April 1st.

my interview was changed from k-3 to IR-1 being that my i 130 was already at the consulate in mexico. the appt date is may 3rd
