Just wanted to give an update on our K-3.... nothing has happened, no transfer, no approval, nothing!

My wife's CR1 interview is tomorrow but I filed an investigation on the K-3 anyway.

I don't know about you but when I spend a substantial amount of money for something? Id like to at least know whay I never received it or why it received no activity.

Update:

My wife had her interview yesterday. She was approved the visa, but does not know when she is going to get it because she changed her name after the papers had been filed and now they must run extra background checks ( or a new one all together ) before they can actually physically give her the visa. Now everything is back to a waiting game. At this point I figure that I have done all that I can do and she will just have to wait on her end. The good thing is she that she passed the interview.

That depends on the RFE.. but most likely more evidence to "prove" the ongoing marriage.. I would assume something like more pictures, airline tickets, package slips , wedding photos/videos... not sure about your particular case though.. you did both the I-130 and the I-129F at the same time? I thought that you had to get NOA2 on the I-130 (Approval) before you can start on I-129F? The I-129F requires a copy of the approval, or something like that.. so the I-129F RFE will probably be just a copy of the I-130 (NOA2 status) needed.. I'm not sure of the I-130 though.. This is incorrect. To file the I-129f you only need the NOA1 from the I-130. The RFE can be anything from a missing document or something a little more serious. There is no way to tell try looking over your packet to see if you missed anything or just wait for the actual RFE. And if possible please post what is was for others still waiting.
