Home from the office just now and guess what's in my mailbox? A letter from NVC stating a case number has been assigned to our I-129F K-3 petiton - MNL2007503XXX. So, they say the case will be forwarded to the embassy at Manila within a week. It's interesting because we've had the NOA2 since Nov 20, and we've also had the CR-1 case completed since Nov 15, and hopefully will be in the list of March interviews. I had figured that the K-3 was lagging so far behind the CR-1 that it wouldn't even be processed, but it has advanced to the next step. I'm sure hoping that this development doesn't interfere with the CR-1. I understand that the CR-1 would override the K-3, so I'm puzzled why it would even sent to the embassy. I'll give NVC a buzz tomorrow early. Guess I'm getting my money's worth, right?

Anyone had this happen? K-3s are not fast anymore.

we want to get approved too fa la la la la la la. please oh please shed some light our way fa la la la la lala. i think i have one hair left with all this waiting and we never hear the good word or get the happy bouncy email. please help us with your prayers so that we can move on and enjoy the happy posts of moving on to the next stage of this whole sharade. i really dont know what else to say or do. im on a limb.... i think i had tooooo much vodka today trying to forget about this #######. this stress is wearing me out i want to go jump off a uscis building or something. sorry guys for ruining the happy thread and the good news post i just needed to vent. i try to stay hopefull and up beat but some days you just have to let go and act like a human. Mom said that there is nothing stronger than the power of prayer so PLEASE PLEASE FOR THOES OF YOU WHO PRAY JOIN US!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY CORAZON. =0)

Quick question for K3 consulate do sent out interview letter and applicant has to bring all documents directly to Embassy at time of interview. My question is why would k3 applicant use AMEX (for Pakistan)? also Visa form do I have to fill it out online and mail it to her or let my wife fill it in hand writting once she will recieve it from consulate?

Thank you all for your help, Tomorrow I am sending here following items:

1) I-134 notarized

2) Employment letter

3) Bank Letter and Bank statement

4) Mosr recent phone bills (mostly VOIP, Emails copies and my 3 trips to her since wedding including boarding passes. Our Honeymoontrip to Malaysia including hotel stay and so on)

We used the new form as well.

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.
