I am sooooo nervous mainly because, we had our wedding planned for July '06......and well my husbands brother (also the bestman) passed in a tragic accident in April 15. We decided not to have the wedding it was too soon. After the trip to his brother funeral, I returned and we decided one morning we loved each other and we should just get married and have our wedding a year to the date. Thats what we did just got our marrige certificate and planned for a small family dinner (my mom was going to DR anyways ) but complications in my pregnancy prevented me going back. I have my wedding invitations.....the catering bil....the hotel payments, the honeymoon receipt( we took anyways) . The worry is the pictures, we have no wedding pictures!!

Just take everything you DO have and explain what happened if they ask. Try to find some evidence of things you stated above (although tragic and depressing, I know) so as to validate your explanation.

Life happens, and often, it doesn't happen as we plan. Be as prepared as possible with your paperwork. That will help a lot. And be calm at the interview. Body language speaks volumes. The CO will only have about 20 minutes to assess your situation and use their judgement to determine the sincerity of your marriage/relationship.

Your fears are understandable, but as long as you are organized and calm and honest, everything will be ok.

Best of luck to you... and dont be so nervous!! If they ask you for wedding pictures and you dont have them, just tell them why you dont have them (As you've just talked about above) I'm sure they will understand.... You're almost there.. hang in there!! =D

My k-3 was approved on oct 20, 2006.

I do not know how to react to it. I am sending out DS-230 form for I-130 and I am not sure which one I should choose now???

On second thought if I am not going to pursue k-3 then what good is the apporoval? I wish I can trade my k-3 approval with someone who is really waiting for it. I am sad when I think that there are other people who needs it more then I do. I hope that those people get approval soon.

But any news is better than no news so I'll rejoice for the moment on this approval anyway :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
