Tracy you have been blessed your case raced through NVC.......I'm a lil lost they are telling me that the case will go directly to the embassy I don't know who to believe........Did you get a letter from NVC for the K3??

Thank you Tracy and Riblet and every one else rooting us on and giving us hope. I get my burts of "its the end of the world moments" and i start thinking what if this what if that then I come on here and I read your posts to helps us keep going and i feel so much better after that.Thank you every one. Zimba any luck have you tried calling USCIS you have waited more than the time they claim we have to wait.I hope you have been able to talk to some one about you petition. Last night,around 8:45 EST, while my husband and I enjoyed a few games of cribbage online, the mail notice box on my msn went crazy with delivery notifications........5 in a row in less than 30 seconds. More than likely a system glitch but I chuckled thinking they must be as excited as we are....if that's possible. Just about the time I was sinking low and feeling hopeless, BAM, there it was!!!!!

In our case, the I-130 has not been touched since they cashed the check and the I-129F was touched once about 6 days after they cashed the check.So far our experience has gone like clockwork(with the exception of my check ordeal), according to what we were told to expect here on VJ and we are hopeful it continues in the same manner.

We truly appreciate all the good wishes and you all should know we're cheering for you. I know I'm not the kind to say congrats on every approval but please know Im thinking it........I smile HUGE with every approval I see, knowing there's one less sad couple holding their breath.

Domini... I called NVC with my CIS receipt # about a week after my approval, and they told me they received my petitiona and gave it a case #. A couple of days later, I received a letter from NVC informing me that my petition "will be forwarded to the Embassy within a week...". And it was!

So yes, they should send you a letter when they forward your petition to the Embassy.

You can call them anytime. They are very helpful.

Tracy you are a saint I called and vuala!! There was my case number lets hope it get to the embassy....I can't wait to spend X-mas and New Years with my hubby!!

You are very welcome, Domini! And I agree 100% with Libersolis.....we have some K-3 members who are LONG overdue for an approval. They really need our prayers.
