Where K3 stands

Sad to Zimba with no NOA 2 yet. Anyone have any idea what is going on with that case?

Well.. We got married on the 23rd of June.. and my wife .. the USC sent in the I-130 on the 30th of June with a cashier's cheque.. and it was returned.. then again it was sent on Aug 8 with a personal cheque.. and it was returned because of a signature problem.. but at that point they did issue a NOA.. but it said rejection notice.. Again.. that problem was taken care of and then I had her sent the I-129F with the same NOA.. Also becuase we were waiting for the official marriage certificate to come.. and that was one of the reasons.. but both I-130 and I-129F were accepted and I have NOA of acceptance of case from both the places.. I just hope that it goes through and I get approval within 40-50 days.. I have an H-1b interview scheduled at US Embassy here in Canada in the start of November..

Hopefully, shakil, INSHA ALLAH, you wont get any problems and get approved soon.

As far as rules go, the rejection notice is no proof that you have an I-130 submitted.

You do need the official marriage certificate to submit both the petitions. If you didnt have that what did u submit with your packages.

They dont necessarily look for missing documents at the time of reciept, but they may issue and RFE once they look at the file. So, I would say, just in case you receive an RFE, be sure to have the missing documents ready to be sent to them.

Do you really need the offical marriage certificate? I just copied the one that I got from the minster the day we were married and my congress man said it was okay. I hope it will be okay then ! Sorry u had so many problems on the first step. Sounds like everything is good now.

Well.. in Canada or in particular Ontario.. Marriage needs to be licensed.. so first you get the marriage license.. and then you get the marriage registered under that license.. registering a marriage takes about 8 weeks.. so I sent the copy of the license also referred to as unofficial certificate.. but that was not the issue.. the issue was the other stuff.. signature and the cheque problem.. now since i sent after a long time.. the marriage has been registered and I thought of sending official certificate since it is now registered..

Hope that I get support from all of you guyz in this painful journey.. I pray that all people get approvals fast becuz all of us are away from our loved ones and miss them alot..

Ofcourse.. we are here to help each other.. I sometimes get surprised that for some cases CSC is works amazingly fast.. and for others.. its just wait and wait.. I wish they were more consistent with their processing.. Also I mean.. their processing dates are so amazing that I can't believe.. March 20th..

sorry im kinda new here... did everyone file their 129-f's in chicago????

the list that is being posted.. is only for 129-f's correct?

that is so annoying how some are still not approved

mine was recieved july 6th but the NOA#1 wasnt generated until the 17th.

it has been in chicago for 73 days now?!!?!??!?!?!?!

i also cannot view my case ONLINE or when i call the 800#... i actually have to be transferred to an immigration officer.. because its not viewable online.. they said its a glich in the computer system....

do u guys think this is delaying my case???? everytime i call they say.. its normal.. everything in your case is going through the normal processing!!!!!

There has been numerous cases where applicants are not able to view the case online. Don't worry about it. Just keep on it! Your approval would not be far.

This whole list is of people who filed I-129F at Chicago for K-3 Visas.
