Hi...

So J&J and I had our interview on the same day, and she got a hit on her enveloppe while checking the Canada Post website... I haven`t got anything yet... When is it 'normal' to start worrying about Montreal having lost, forgotten, used as fire starter my enveloppe with my visa?

And can DOS inform you of anything? Like when it was shipped and such?

A lot of times Canada post is slow with their updating system. Some ppl have said theirs never did post any updates, some got and update after the package was already delivered.

My interview was March 16 and my passport was not put in the mail until March 23.

Longest week of my life.. lol.

I also called Canadapost the morning of the 23rd. They were able to tell me it was in the mail before the website had any info.

I was more impatient than worried, they didnt put mine in the mail until 1 day shy of the full 2 weeks after the interview for me.

Montreal is slow, remember that, slow and inconsistant at EVERYTHING. People that had their interviews the day before me, had their envelopes in the mail that evening.

Get mad after 2 weeks, you were approved, they arent going to change their minds or something.

I know where you are comming from, there was 3 people from vj the day i had my interview and they got their visa within a few days of their interview and the guy who interviewed me said it would be put in the mail in about 5 days from the approval date. I Waited coz it was a holdiday in quebec and then july 4th i was like you i got worred as they got theres. I emailed montreal with the subject line approved k1 visa (case number) and date of approval. I Just asked them where it was. They emailed me back in about 15 mins saying that my visa had been mailed to me hat morning, then instantly i got an email from canada post saying my package had been accepted at the post office. Did you write down your tracking number if you did you can set up instant notification by email or text that you package is on its way. Came to find out that the printer broke at the consulate and they were unable to print visas for 2 days.
