I'm on my 3rd month now of waiting for my ROC (divorce waive) and I am planning to move to another state. I know its not a good idea to move while waiting but I have no option but to do so. I am from Georgia (VSC) and moving to Indiana (CSC). Someone suggested to just consider my moving as a temporary relocation and don't change my address.

I need opinion regarding this. Thank you!

No! Never move without changing address. It will probably delay your application but always follow the rules.

Once they receive the address change, they will forward your application to the proper service center and proceed from there.

We moved during my AOS from Minnesota to Indiana and it was pretty smooth. But please make sure to notify that you are moving. Where in Indiana are you moving to? The Indianapolis local office is pretty decent and things seem to move quick! Good Luck with the move and ROC

The thing is that Minnesota and Indiana have the same service center. Mine would be different cause I have to move from VSC to CSC :( ... Anyways, I'm thinking of staying in Evansville.

Your case is waiver, so maybe little different from normal case. But if you look below timeline, I think you still have a chance to get approved in a week or so... Why don't you wait little bit ;)?

An immigration lawyer told me to just think of my move as a temporary relocation. And since my present address is a family address, I can still keep my mails coming from there. So I don't know if it's really advisable to do it like that. Any thoughts?
