I told you, my response, and what brought you into this conversation at all today, was in response to HappyBunny's post about a thread you wrote several weeks ago ABOUT your blog. I don't care one way or the other about your blog. I'm wishing I'd never read the thread about your blog at all, but when I saw the title of it, it mistakenly led me to believe that you were asking a question about something related to immigration. Once I read the question, it wasn't. I was bored, so I continued to read the thread and responded. I have no emotional stake in your blog, relationship, or life in general.

I had no intention of bringing your blog into this thread whatsoever. HappyBunny brought up the thread in question so I defended myself. That's it.

You could have been a bigger person and not commented at all. Instead you did. You could have kept your feelings to yourself, but you didn't. Stop acting like you didn't have a choice.

I never said I didn't have a choice. I did. I'm not claiming to be perfect. Never have, never will. However, I do my best not to make it a habit of being rude and antagonistic to people just because I CAN. That is the whole point of this thread. There are too many people here who do.

Well you ARE being rude and antagonistic. Most of your posts in this thread are. You've been rude to JohnnyQuest, who has been NOTHING but helpful to me and other newbies. He knows so much and has been really generous in sharing his knowledge. Why do you think you have more knowledge than Johnny that you can be so rude to him?

I've never once claimed to be more knowledgeable that anyone. I read, I repost. Same as the rest of them. You cannot say he hasn't been rude. He has in the past, and has a history of attacking me in particular when he feels I've said something he doesn't agree with. He's admitted to following my posts to look for places to do so.

Melissa, my posts here, for the most part, have been in a defensive manner. This thread was posted several hours before I even knew it existed. In fact, Peter brought it to my attention, I had no idea it was here. I felt the need to jump in to defend myself, as I'm sure you've felt the need to do in the past, based on many of your posts. I feel my posts were justified. I attempted to remain quiet and just read, but it got to the point that I couldn't anymore. The more and more disparaging the posts became about me, the more I felt I needed to speak up on my own behalf. So I did. I'm sorry you felt antagonized by my responses. That was not my intent.
