Can anyone help me?

I mailed my I751 on July 2 and got NOA after a week. 30 days later, havnt got my biometric letter so I called USCIS yesterday and found out that a biometric appointment has already been scheldule on August 20. (It's only 7 days away from now!!!) USCIS contacted me by email letting me know that a new letter will be sent out. Obviously the first biometric letter was lost somehow. So my question is what if the second biometric letter comes late, will I miss my biomeric appointment? Or Can I get biometric done without the letter? Please give me some suggestions. I really dont want to miss my appointment.

***The earlies Infopass appointment available at my area is Augus 26 which is way pass my schedule biometric appointment.***

I am pretty sure that you have to bring the bio appointment notice to be allowed to take the biometrics. On the letter it says that you have to bring it and at the bio appointment I had to show it to several people and they scanned it in, stamped it and everything. I would think that you at least need your receipt number, did they give that to you over the phone?

You need the letter to get your biometrics taken.,

My suggestion is to wait until the 18th or 19th and then call USCIS and tell them that you didn't receive the letter yet (Hopefully you will) and ask them to reschedule it for you and send you a new letter. If that is not working well, then see if they can place a service request for you so that you are on record and that you didn't just NOT show up for your biometrics. If you have an infopass office near you and you don't mind the trip, then I suggest you use that as your next venue if all fails.

Hopefully you will get it soon and you won't have to jump through so many hoops!
