:lol::lol: NOPE I didn't read the other thread... where is it?

Here is the first one in his series, I believe.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

yes they pick on me all the time. please tell them to stop. I feel like an unwanted child here.

Wow, this thread is just being mean! Picking on a fellow VJ who is somewhat being misunderstood by the mass. I think when OP stated "Am USC" He meant "to avoid the confusion from the Beneficiary" and that's all there was to it!

Don't know since when VJ becomes like this, picking on people... give the guy a break!

cheers!

Yea you bunch of meany's, poor lil'ole DeathKnell is probably sitting at his US Citizens computer dabbing his tears with a hanky...dont you all feel bad??...

As I do on every letter I send, I wrote my phone number at the back of the envelope I mailed the form in. If the post office guy has a question, he can always call me. Am just wondering why they cannot deliver a citizen's letter on time!! I thought citizens get preferential treatment? Did the rules change?

Citizens don't get preferential treatment from the postal service here. We treat everyone the same--if you buy sufficient postage, your letter gets delivered.

You write your phone number on your letters???

The post office can call you???

What tiny village did you come from?

well, you do know our us government postal workers have so much time on their hands that they'll see that on the back and think "hmmm, let me just call this nice usc and see what more i can do to help" - specially bcuz they know exactly what's going on and want to expedite your case. man!!! whose hand do i have to grease to make that happen???

DeathKnell,

Maybe you do not recognize that this is a general-use USPS notice that is the closest they can come to the delivery situation and is not intended to provide details specific to your individual mailpiece.

It should not be surprising, you should have noticed that the USCIS gives similarly generic, not overly meaningful, notices.

Am a USC. Today I got the message below regarding delivery of my package. Has anyone got a similar message? Maybe they did not realize that it was coming from a USC otherwise they would have rushed to receive it and apologized for the delay by calling me.

Anyone undergone such an experience?
