what a vapid article. it's in no way "eerily reminiscent" of the 2008 horror where babies actually died, and hundreds of thousands were injured. so far this has affected three girls, not 300, 000, and the story does not provide a single shred of evidence linking the powdered milk to their abnormal hormones. have any other parents/pediatricians come forward? one would think that if there were more children affected, they would at least be discussed here.

this could potentially be a huge issue, but one would never know it from this crappy journalism.

why not blame mothers that put priority on working outside the home over feeding their flesh and blood? Blame it on the Chinese.

1. They make a baby

2. They go back to work instead of feeding their baby with the breasts they were given for the purpose

3. They buy the cheapest powdered formula they can find to give the babysitter or daycare center that takes the responsibility for their child for them (and most of the money they earn at a job instead of caring for their child)

4. Blame the Chinese

Did you miss the part where this is happening in China?

or maybe they live in poverty, have no choice about work and/or are unable to breastfeed........

What are you talking about? Every woman should marry a rich man and not have to worry about such things. Simple!

did you improve them?

send me your private e-mail and i'll send you the pix.

seriously, excess estradiol levels in children could seriously f up the development of the child's endocrine system, leaving lifelong effects. chinese process control and safety standards are second world, at best. deadly in too many cases.

i used to buy prednisone there OTC for back problems associated with herniated disc related to the long flights.

half the time it worked. half the time it was no go. in any case it was better than traditional folk remedies, which involved more damage than relief. on a side note, a couple of 40 Kg hotel girls walking on my back always worked best. i always slept like a baby by the time they were done with me.
