Need Info., For My Mother- I-130

Hi Everyone,

I need to get some information for my mother, she is getting ready to file the I-130 form and she is a green card holder and have a permanent resident, she will be filing for her daughter who is in Jamaica and is 18 year's old,

My ? to everyone is HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE PAPER TO GET APPROVED? DOES IT MATTER IF SHE'S A PERMANENT RESIDENT, I KNOW IT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE LONGER, BECAUSE SHE'S NOT A US CITIZEN, PLUS SINCE MY MOTHER HAVE BEEN IN THE USA SINCE 2009 AND HAVE NOT FOUND A JOB, SHE CAN STILL FILE ALL THE FORMS RIGHT? AND SHE AS ALOT OF SPONSOR'S WHO R WILLING TO HELP HER GET HER DAUGHTER UP.

yes she can file even tho she is not working yet....its best to put th paper work from now so its in the system... as it relates to the time span i cant tell you because they are processing applications so speedily now...... so let her go ahead and do it. that was the mistake i made i should have filed for my hubby immediately sfter getting here he would have been here a long time well from last year. now hes waiting on an interveiw date. anyway best of luck to you
