Hello there,

Today was the D-Day! Our interview was scheduled to 9.30am at the Philadelphia, PA office. We got there at 9.20am.

At 9.45 the officer called us, he was nice and easy going (still serious). He asked those yes or no question from the I-485 form then asked how and when we met, looked at our pics, asked me to choose 2 and give for him to file. Everything was pretty smooth (the whole interview didn't last more than 15 min).

But the officer realized that my DOB was wrong on the i-485 form (our bad, we missed - it has my husband year of birth instead of mine). Well, the officer said that because of that they will have to run a new background check and after that I will receive the answer for my process.

He did not say it as approved, but he took my I-94 card and said that it would take 30 days for me to receive the card, he also explained that "the first Green Card expires in 2 years". So, we are pretty confident that everything is fine and that I will get it.

I am wondering if any of you have has been though anything like this?

I've read about Green Cards emitted with wrong DOB, but in my case the error was caught on time. I guess it is better than having to go though the whole i-90 process. What do you think?
