My fiance received P3 on 7/28 and sent the forms and DS-2001 back within 2 hours of receipt. He got delivery confirmation that they were received in London the next day. It's now almost 2 weeks later and they've still not logged them in. I keep calling the DOS everyday, but they keep telling me that they show nothing received on our case.

After seeing another thread, we filled out and submitted the electronic DS-160 just to be on the safe side, because there seems to be some confusion as to whether London wants the separate forms or the DS-160, even though the link they gave us said the separate forms. So now they've got both and can take their pick. My question is How long does it take them to log in the P3 documents and schedule the interview? One poster said they got an interview date (over the phone, not via mail) 4 days after London received his documents. How long are most others waiting? We're hoping for him to be here by mid-October, so I know we've still got time, but come ON! :clock:

Dodi

I know the frustration, its painful.

When I called them to find out how long it would take to put in the system once they receive Packet 3 they told me 2-4 weeks minimum. Not sure how they can come up with that number but I would hazard a guess that they are still working to that time. I hope it comes in soon for you, mine only hit the Embassy on Monday the 9th so I still have that to wait.

I am hoping there is nothing wrong with any of my forms, I can't do anything till next week at the earliest as I am out of the country for work.

Hang in there

Usually they send an interview date after the medical is done like a couple of weeks. The medical last for 1 year i think it is,and if your 1 year has passed, then you would need to take a medical again before an interview.I've been to London and medical and interview was same month.

Well, he had his interview yesterday, so here's hoping!

He said the doctor he got was very curt and a little rude. He was so nervous he was shaking, but he passed according to her. They said they'd have bloodwork results on Friday.

If you hadn't taken your other thread away, I was trying to help you there. I don't know why you would have the whole thread deleted. I put in an effort to explain timeline searching that would have been beneficial for lots of people who ask that same question over and over. Now that's lost and I'm pretty annoyed. Timeline searching is much more effective than asking "how long?" on a thread. You get all the people and not just the few who hang out in that regional forum. I don't know if you looked at timelines. I did and . .

Out of 40-43 people reporting interviews in London between June 1 and Sept 23

Days between returning P3 and receiving P4: Average = 27.55 days, Median = 25.5

Days between returning P3 and Interview date: Average = 60.41, Median = 58

Out of 11-12 people reporting interviews in London between Aug 1 and Sept 23

Days between returning P3 and receiving P4: Average = 34.18 days, Median = 43

Days between returning P3 and Interview date: Average = 64.66, Median = 78

The information is there at you fingertips if you learn to use the resources, and I was trying to help you (and others) learn.

The other question I asked you in the deleted thread was "did you put a travel date?" The date you put influences London Embassy.

Nich-Nick,

I had already told you in the other thread that, YES, I had looked at your links, and I thanked you for them. It's perfectly obvious why I asked for the other thread to be removed, as it was serving no purpose other than to prolong the ongoing drama, so please don't bring that drama here.

I never saw your reply. I went out for the evening right after I added my post asking you two questions and then it was all gone. So nothing is obivious to me and drama isn't my style.

Dodi, there's no apparent formula for how they process and allocate interview dates. No one on here can give you a definite answer and I think that you've received the best answer from Nich-Nick. They've been on here awhile and they know what they're talking about.

My experience was that they had my info for about 3 weeks, sent me an RFE to get some info sent directly to them from overseas and then another 3 weeks before I received an interview date for 1 month later. Other people who sent their P3's around about the same time as me were processed at various different times to me.

Have you been onto Sundrop's UK K1 thread? You might get some more information there from other people who sent their packets at the same time as she has a tracker on there.
