There is so much ridiculousness about this whole thing, and I know I am just repeating others. I, an American woman, am traditional and old fashioned in many ways, yet do believe in men and women being equal, yet also wanted the role of housewife and mother. And I would not want to marry an American man who is a pervert, or a jerk. I did not intend to marry someone from another country, didn't think it would happen, but I found someone who morally is on the same page as me, and that was hard for me, the American woman, to find in the US. I know it's here, but hard to find. For anyone to think no other American women are like that, they are lying to themselves.
