This is my first Ramadan fasting. Last Sunday my husband and I met up with Jax and Ibriheim

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

You're welcome; it's a beautiful blog. I especially love reading about her relationship and the

help she's been able to give to the Moroccan woman (if I remember correctly her name is Nezha). The

author has funded some of Nezha's schooling, etc. It's inspirational.

the chicago hilal society said it would start thursday morning because the moon was not sighted tuesday night. I was going to start today with Egypt but I found that one the committee website and I am thankful for it because I almost passed out about half way through the day. May have to contact the doctor on this one. Not completely sure it is safe for me to do....Inshaallah it will be okay. Im gonna try to do it but if it makes me pass out I have strict orders to my kids that I have to have something to drink because I have passed out before from low blood pressure or something but it has been a while since that and the doctors have never addressed it. so we will see.

I don't know about the moon sighting for our area seeing as we're so close to the west coast and they're starting Thursday.

Our area started fasting today. I was up with Dh this morning making breakfast before his fast and he was happy and humming.

He is with some friends from the Islamic Center tonight breaking their fast together. I wonder what they're having?

I also bought some dates and apricot juice at the store today for him to break his fast with & a Ramadan lantern for our first Ramadan together.

There were a lot of lanterns to choose from at Ross. I didn't take a picture of the two lanterns but one of them kind of looks like this one but with multi-colored glass.

That lanterns''Fanous'' looks beau .I tried to buy one online but it was very very exp Almost 80 $ !!

OMG i can't believe it !!!!!!!!

I was checking an islamic website and it says today its Ramdan first in Granite falls / NC '' That's where i live'' and i started to fast yesterday !!!

Ramadan begins today here in Tucson!

I'm very confsued .I don't know if today is the first of the second day of Ramadan here in Granite falls .

I have been trying to call any islamic center around here and no one answer my call or they always busy !!!

05/08/10 - Sent I-129F

05/10/10 - VSC receives I-129F

05/11/10 - NOA1

05/13/10 - Touched

05/14/10 - Touched

05/17/10 - Received NOA1 in the mail

07/06/10 - NOA2 - Approved!!!! :)

07/12/10 - Received NOA2 in the mail

07/13/10 - Received at NVC

07/16/10 - NVC changes embassy per our request

07/19/10 - Told we are in AP @ NVC

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!
