I used wrong pobox for my I 130

Hello all

i used uscis chicago lockbox no 804616 instead of box no 804625to send my I-130 aplication for my wife.. what shoud i do now? will my application be rejcted? please advice..iam tensed..

USCIS JOURNEY

07-26-2010: I-130 package mailed.

07-30-2010: Package delivered.

08-11-2010: Money Order Cashed by USCIS.

08-13-2010: Touched

08-16-2010: Received NOA1 hard copy.

08-01-2010 is My Priority Date

11-02-2010 and 11-03-2010 Touched:Maybe for case transfer to Texas Service center

11-04-2010 Touched.

11-24-2010 Touched.

02-15-2011 RFE..Waiting for paper to come in Snail Mail.

02-16-2011 RFE.Response.

02-22-2011 Paper delivered to TSC.Waiting to hear something from TSC.

i sent my application on 07/26/2010. just now i checked on USCIS website and i 130 instruction updated on 08/03/2010 so did they change the po ox recently?

Officially the instructions say that if you file in the wrong place it will be rejected. However, I have no actual experience from this so I don't know.

Don't worry sandipdesai. USCIS changed the new PO Box effective 08/03/2010.

Whoever sent before that is fine. This was my biggest worry, but few other people confirmed it. You know what I got email text today that my application received and got receipt# after slightly longer wait.

When you mailed on 7/26/2010, USCIS must have received it on 7/28/2010. So, you're ok with it. I would say by the end of this week or next week, you will have receipt# aka NOA1.
