Sent the packet to Vermont service center, but the return receipt was stamped by the Dallas center in Lewisville, TX. Did the mailing addresses change within the last week?

Petitions have been rerouted to Texas or Arizona since about mid-May to make the intake process more uniform.

I just saw that the date changed on the USCIS website effective 8/3?

By people just starting to send them to Texas, do you think that makes it go quicker than the ones already in vermont getting transferred down? Is now a good time because people are "just starting" to send to texas?

They have been forwarding them from Vermont to Texas since May. It did have an impact and many people got an approval notice quickly. At this point, they have just published the change in address for the petitioners to put on the package. When I sent mine in May, I sent it to Vermont, it was immediately sent to Texas, and I had an NOA1 within a week or so, so I don't think it makes a difference really.

Oh just for the record my return receipt had a vermont address.
