It has been 2 months since NOA1(June 12) and when I log on to USCIS, the last time case was updated was June 15. I have not received RFE, which I guess everybody gets for IMBRA, right? Anyway, I see other cases with similar date to mine, and they have already received RFE and sent it back. On one hand, I am hoping that I have not heard anything because all papers were in order. On the other, its lost in a drawer. thanks for help

You are early on in the process. Many people from Mar, Apr, and May are still waiting for IMBRA RFE. No one, and i mean no one can give you and idea how long it may take.

Plan on long wait is the best advice. If if comes in short amount of time consider yourself lucky.

we havent had no touch, update or RFE in a month now.

we sent our petition 59 days ago and i know its still too early to b complaining about waiting but its just diving me crazy to see that people with a later NOA1 date or a later RFE (IMBRA) date gettimg approved before us.

im not complaining. i just wish it wuld b a fair process and it wuld follow some rules but it doesnt.

im happy for every single approved k1, k3 or whatever. but it just seems so unfair sometimes.

I'm right with you. We are part of the unfortunate ones with June NOA1's who used the pre-IMBRA I-129F forms.

What I ended up doing was fill out the new post-IMBRA I-129F form and mailed it to them, making it clear with stickies and a cover letter stating it as an amendment to my existing petition. The person I talked with said that should be okay. I may end up getting an RFE anyway, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try and help get them the necessary info they need to process my petition.
