Starting to fill out the paperwork for AOS/EAD/AP

On the G-325A form it asks for the "File Number A______". Would I have this number yet and if so where would I find it ?

Also on the bottom of the G-325A form it asks for the "(Alien Registration Number)" is this the same number as the File Number A ? Or is this a different number and if so do I have this number yet and if so where would I find it ?

Also I have applied for my Social Security Card and should be receiving it in the next few days do I need to wait to complete the G-325A form or can I just put "NONE" ?

Sorry for these stupid easy questions ... Also I appologize now for the future questions I am going to be asking until I have this part of the paperwork completed ...

It's the A number from the white paper stapled in the passport.

Yes. It should also be on the Visa itself, towards the bottom.

The A number wasn't on my wife's visa, but it can be found on either of your NOA's, listed above the name in the "Beneficiary" block, and also written on the back of your I-94.

File Number and Alien Registration number are the same, which should be a 9 digit number preceded with an "A". That number was assigned by the USCIS and is used for tracking cases.

K-1 Timeline

11-29-05: Mailed I-129F Petition to CSC

12-06-05: NOA1

03-02-06: NOA2

03-23-06: Interview Date May 16

05-17-06: K-1 Visa Issued

05-20-06: Arrived at POE, Honolulu

07-17-06: Married

AOS Timeline

08-14-06: Mailed I-485 to Chicago

08-24-06: NOA for I-485

09-08-06: Biometrics Appointment

09-25-06: I-485 transferred to CSC

09-28-06: I-485 received at CSC

10-18-06: AOS Approved

10-21-06: Approval notice mailed

10-23-06: Received "Welcome Letter"

10-27-06: Received 2 yr Green Card

I-751 Timeline

07-21-08: Mailed I-751 to VSC

07-25-08: NOA for I-751
