You've probably been waiting some time for the casefile to move into NVC, yes?

Good time to review NVC stuff - see

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

a mini-how-to when using the online payment portal -

Please read all of the pages in those links, especially the bit about 'civil documents'.

Good Luck !

If u are filing a petition for ur husband to come to the US on a K3 visa, then it would take about 7 months (give or take) for ur husband's interview at Lagos.

The next stage after sending the form back to them would be for the petition to be approved or denied.(u may be interviewed before approval or denial back here) Its after the approval of the petition back here in the US that the documents would eventually be sent to Lagos for ur husbands interview(which is a real test!)

Duplicate thread moved from CR-1 forum to Bringing Family Members of PR to America forum so all of the information is in one location. Duplicate post removed. It isn't necessary or desirable to start more than one thread on the same topic.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You do know that K-3 visas are effectively 'dead' at NVC, yes?

No? Please read? --> http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/02/07/department-of-state-to-close-k-3-visas-if-i-129f-and-i-130-petitions-approved-and-received-together/
