10/9/2018   - Received a note saying we have an incorrect form, submitted the correct one same day

10/31/2018 - All documents are approved and ready to schedule interview

Hi recenty I called NVC to check my case status in their automated voice recording. But thier IVR (Intregated Voice Recording )is not working and forwarding the call to call agent. Are they stopped the service.

hey can you guys help me with a quick question.. my mom petitioned for her sister (my aunt) on Jan, 8th 2010 and she got an approval July, 16 2010 saying it was forwarded to the NVC-- umm she has just been waiting but what are the next steps? I mean its been two years i know the wait is 10 but is she supposed to do anything else meanwhile? she hasnt contacted the NVC at all are there more forms or fees at this point?

Welcome..:)

You can call NVC and check for the NVC case number and then provide the emails of the Petitioner and Beneficiary so that u will not miss out any communication from NVC. Th waiting time of 10yrs are evenly spread out. If you wait 1 year in USCIS, then the remaining 9yrs will be in NVC..Right now there are no forms or fees at this point..

My PD is 24 Nov 2000. Even I do not have any intimation about interview so far. Called up NVC, but there is no update from them.

Call DOS - 202-663-1225 (press 1 then 0 to speak with a visa specialist)..you should have an update..:thumbs:

But at this stage, whether VFS, Mumbai will be of any use?

You can call VFS and check with them on the medicals and when exactly do you have to submit all the documents to them..nowadays, the interviews has been rescheduled due to the non submission of documents to VFS in advance..:yes:

you can email VFS and keep the printout of their reply while going to the interview..:yes:
