Hi All,

I want to sponsor my sister to come live us in USA. She is not in USA. Below is what I understand of the process with some questions.

Application:

• I-130 with $420 Fee

Question 1: Do I need to file any other forms?

Supporting Documents:

1. Copy of my valid U.S. passport

2. Copy of my naturalization certificate

3. Copy of my birth certificate

4. Copy of my sisters birth certificate

5. Any other documents?

Question 2: When do I need to send in documents for her family like,

• Photographs

• My Sisters Marriage Certificate

• Copy of my sisters passport

• Birth Certificated and passport copies of children and spouse

• Any other documents that I may be missing?

Question 3: How are additions (new babies) in family handled after I-130 has already been filed?

Question 4: What do I need to do in case there is a change of address, mine in USA or My sisters in Pakistan?

Thanks in advance for you help!

Regards

Question 1: Do I need to file any other forms?

Send the copy of your sister's birth certificate with the names of your parents

Question 2: When do I need to send in documents for her family like,

After the I-130 is approved, then your case reaches NVC wherein u can send in the mentioned documents

Question 3: How are additions (new babies) in family handled after I-130 has already been filed?

Once the I-130 is approved, you can call NVC and then add any new additions while filling DS-230 forms

Question 4: What do I need to do in case there is a change of address, mine in USA or My sisters in Pakistan?

Just call USCIS / NVC and update ur latest address

Not bad at all , its good to see movements, but i wish there were some bigger movements

VB is out, not what we were hoping for but at least there was movement. 1 month once again.

PD 6/5/2000 interview : 11/2/2011

http://vietditru.com...37&start=100000

And this is my story: US consulate called my family to submit all required documents ( police certificates + medical examinations) for whole family last week, then when we submitted all of them, they gave us the pink letter and told us to come back on Oct 3rd, 2011 to get visas. We were so happy, and when we came to get visas they returned the passports and told us wait again.( because retrogression) about 9 families received their calls to pick up the visas, but no visa was given. What they did just give out hope and then take it back rudely without apologizing .I couldn't believe that a big system like US immigration can do work carelessly like that. I feel sorry for them. My family stops hoping. We are glad that we are back to normal days. Hope you guys don't be fooled like my family.

Carol

Any Update Carol..

hello guys.

I will be asking questions for my dad who is petitioned by his brother. They will be having their interview on Nov.14,2011. I have heard from other people that the Consul will ask for a picture of the petitioner, is it not detrimental in getting approved if my dad doesn't have a picture of his brother with him. The petitioner didn't visit the Philippines for 23years,so they don't have pictures together, and wasn't camerawhores to have a picture gallore before. haha. my dad only has pictures of him alone but not with him. will any other documents be needed to prove that they are siblings, except from their birthcertificates?

thanks for reading and responding! :)

Welcome RyanCess..

Well, if there are some pictures, then the chances of approval will be easier...A Picture is worth Thousand Words...:)
