Hi guys,

My parents are already here!!!!!!! :) :) :)    They have been here since Sep. 3. Sorry for the late update, things were hectic with my kiddos. Anyways just a brief background of their case, my uncle is the petitioner and my mom is the beneficiary. Their PD was Apr. 1,1988, my youngest brother was not able to migrate with them because he aged out(his b-day 3/6/87). Anyways, moving forward their SS card arrived in the mail 1 week after they got here and the welcome letter arrived yesterday. Things are settling in pretty goo, so for all those that are still waiting good luck!

Congratulations!!! :)

Hello, I have a question, let's say that my dad fills out the I130 for my aunt (his sister). Once it is approved, does her daughter (now 13) immigrate with her automatically? What about my uncle (her husband)?

Thanks

Both(Aunt's Husband and Daughter) of them are the derivative beneficiary of one single I-130 petition..

hello guys.

I will be asking questions for my dad who is petitioned by his brother. They will be having their interview on Nov.14,2011. I have heard from other people that the Consul will ask for a picture of the petitioner, is it not detrimental in getting approved if my dad doesn't have a picture of his brother with him. The petitioner didn't visit the Philippines for 23years,so they don't have pictures together, and wasn't camerawhores to have a picture gallore before. haha. my dad only has pictures of him alone but not with him. will any other documents be needed to prove that they are siblings, except from their birthcertificates?

thanks for reading and responding! :)

PD 6/5/2000 interview : 11/2/2011

http://vietditru.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5037&start=100000

And this is my story: US consulate called my family to submit all required documents ( police certificates + medical examinations) for whole family last week, then when we submitted all of them, they gave us the pink letter and told us to come back on Oct 3rd, 2011 to get visas. We were so happy, and when we came to get visas they returned the passports and told us wait again.( because retrogression) about 9 families received their calls to pick up the visas, but no visa was given. What they did just give out hope and then take it back rudely without apologizing .I couldn't believe that a big system like US immigration can do work carelessly like that. I feel sorry for them. My family stops hoping. We are glad that we are back to normal days. Hope you guys don't be fooled like my family.
