My PD is Nov, 20, 2000. I wish it can move back to normal, but moving 4-6 months is impossible. I already had interview in late Jan 2011, but the case was put on hold because my family was unable to submit missing document on time. :( We are still waiting, and keep renewing our documents.

how can u be so sure that there will not be 4-6 months movement ??

nvc just started to give appointments .

when retrogression happened in f4 category (India ) in 2003 , there was movement of 7 months in Oct vb..

i think minimum 3 months movement will be there .

Hello guys...

I am not sure that by looking forward to interview letters we can say that Visa Bulletin will move forward!

I am explaining :

In October 2011, they issued the new amount of visas, and then suddenly in December they realized that, they issued too many visas only in 2 months and they have

10 months ahead! That's why the retrogression happened!

[please visit http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5197.html, section F ]

By that time , NVC had issued many interview letters and also many people got interviewed.

So there are plenty of cases that have been interviewed, and they are just waiting for their PD to become current !

Then, in my opinion NVC will not issue so many interview letters, because there is already plenty of people whom got interviewed and waiting in the queue,

why should NVC add to this queue?

Hope that, I could explain well, and also made hope for all of us

Hello guys...

I wanted to explain what I think:

I think, I am not sure that by looking forward to interview letters we can say that Visa Bulletin will move forward or not!

I am explaining :

In October 2010, they issued the new amount of visas, and then suddenly in December 2010, they realized that, they issued too many visas only in 2 months and they have

10 months ahead! That's why the retrogression happened!

[please visit http://www.travel.st...letin_5197.html, section F ]

By that time , NVC had issued many interview letters and also many people got interviewed.

So there are plenty of cases that have been interviewed, they went into AP, and VB retrogressed, and then they are just waiting for their PD to become current again !

Then, in my opinion NVC will not issue so many interview letters, because there is already plenty of people whom got interviewed and waiting in the queue,

why should NVC add to this queue?

Therefore I think that VB will move forward, despite even no interview letter has been issued by the NVC, and my guess is 3 months forward movement in Oct. 2011 Visa Bulletin.

Hope that, I could explain well, and also made hope for all of us

@ra928: You have a very nice analysis for the delay of issuing interview letters. NVC will not send interview letters for those who already had interviews within a 1. If 1 year has passed from the first interview, they have to go to interview again. The consular office will email or send letters to remind people who has their PD become current again.

sorry friend...i am not agree with you ....bcaz we have f2a waiting list by case and they hae send interview letter upto dec 2008...and they have not started jan 2009....if they are going to give interviews even we can have that information through our fellow members...and we have more than 60 members actively updating their case....so if we dont get any interview..cut off date is not gonna move forward that is for sure...
