I think the October visa will move 2 months or at least 1 month. Most of the cases are completed, and waiting for the interview. It will move fast if there are few case left in May,2000 or June,2000. But how about other countries, it's is impossible for VB move back to Jan 2002 :) Just my opinion :)

In October Visa Bulletin....Dates Will Come Back to JAN,2002.......

hey jolly jan 2002 is tough. evn i wish tht bt for sure it wont happen atleast for india.. india used almost 170 visas last month for only 7 days movement in the visa bulletin.. tht means there r so many ppl in 2001 who have completed their file durin retrogression nd nw waitin.. the bulletin would move normal.. as for every year.. it might hardly touch jan 2002 this fiscal yr.. i knw its harsh fact.. m nt a negativr thinker.. bt there r indeed so many ppl in line.. nd only 10000 visa to be issued in a yr so 850 around every month.. nd in real u will find 800 ppl waitin in two months..:)

u r tacking it in a wrong way mr.jay patel

last month movement was of 30 days and 198 people was "interviewed"..(august month-and august vb)

and now 76 people will be interviewed in 7 day pd movement.(exp: if u see vb of September for movement(7 days) ,see how many peoples get interview in September months(76) ,NOT in "august".

and there is no limit that india can issue 10000 visas and(aos) .it would be 9000 or even 11000.but worldwide limit is 65000.

and if i calculate in in your way , then next months movement would be 3-4 months.

and see your inbox i have replied ur msg :

have a good day.

nic effort ram256 ..but u r wrong.

According to the law (7% per country cap) means:

All family preferences (F1+F2A+F2b+F3+F4) including IV visas and Adjustment of status including family and employment

(bcoz H1 will adjust their status through employment one) = 226,000(family) + 140,000(employment) = 366000 Total numbers

be issued to all among the world.

India's or any other country's 7% cap means = 7% of 366000 which is = 25620 (including all family IV visas and adjustment

of status (includes all family preferences) + all employment in a fiscal year)

15,820 is the total number of visas and adjustments of status that can be issued to the citizens of any one country in

the Family based categories, 9,800 is the total number of visas and adjustments of status that can be issued to the

citizens of any one country in the Employment based categories.

The 7% cannot be applied to each category or sub-category. One can immagine, for example, a scenario in which all of a

particular country's 7% limit is consumed by adjustments of status. In such a situation there would be no visas issued in

either the family-based or the employment-based categories.

and f4 is s "sub"-preference category .

so in every fiscal year india has 25620 visas.(15820 for family based and 9800 for eb)

it doesnt matter that which sub-category uses how much visas from it( total 15820 )..lik f1,f2(a,b),f3 ,f4...

generally every year approx 10000 people are interviewed under f4 category.and remaining is for f1,f3,f2a,f2b.

in fy 2010 10076 people were interviewed.

in recent months, people went to F4 interview were much less due to the slow movement of cutoff dates. Why? Because numbers had became insufficient, therefore DOS has to limit the movement of VB so less people can go to the interview and receive IV.

Starting from October, 65000 F4 IV numbers will be there. In recently years India took between 9500-10000 F4 numbers annually (10076 last year), on average it's about 830 per month WHO CAN RECEIVE THEIR VISA.Therefore, it's estimated that more than 830 people would go to the interview per month. In order to do this, DOS has to advance the cutoffs faster

so guys, don't worry about the slow movement of VB this FY. according to these headcounts, almost 3/4 of the annual F4 quota were used during the first few months of FY 2011 (before retrogression). When the new FY starts this october, worldwide F4 cutoff dates are expected to move 2-3 months per calendar month...
