Hi Visagrant

Can you tell me what is the detailed procedures for applying my husband's sister families to US? My husband and I are both USC now, his siter has two kids, but one married over 21, the other one is 10yrs old now.

Do I need to file 3 I-130 or just one?

What documents they need to send to me for filing I-130?

First ur husband need to file One I-130 for his sister along with her birth certificate( with the name of one common parent in the certificate)

In the I-130 application, the sister's husband and the 10yrs will be covered..

but the older one is past 21 and married and will not be the derivative of the application and need to wait till the parents gets their visa..:crying:

Hello everyone. My priority date for this F4 case is Feb. 21, 2002. Today I called and found out that the case was finally completed! Even though I am aware that the priory date is about 2 years away from the current cut off date, can anyone tell me about what is going to be the next step? The AVR told me wait 8 weeks.

- Thank you!

Welcome singh94..:)

In almost all the cases, NVC completes the processing of cases and making them "Documentarily Qualified" which means, your entire paperwork is complete with NVC and you have nothing to be done(No extra Fees or Forms to be completed) and NVC will schedule the interview as per the priority date in visa bulletin. Just keep checking with NVC on which date they have dispatched/couriered your entire paperwork to the consulate in India.

Meanwhile you can check the "Interview scheduling" for the local consulate in India..

Good Luck..

You can go through the link provided below..Everything is same for F4 Visa Category, except the wait time(right now it is 8-10yrs for F4)...It is better to have wait time in NVC...Means that After I-130 is approved,Make sure that your approved I-130 petition reaches NVC and a case number is allotted..
