you can't carry more than 10 thousand US dollar to USA. Pakistan custom rules not allow to carry more than 10 thousand per passport.

Bank drafts , traveller cheques aren't included in 10 thousand.

you can carry bank draft of any amount to USA.

Your father (I presume the beneficiary of petition) got his birth certificate from Nadra or some other department? My DOB is 1968 and i m not sure where to check my birth certificate from. I m based in Lahore

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of
the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at

no tension just take your NADRA new one certificate or the union concil one trancslated in english with you i am also from lahore or take the union concil one to NADRA they will issue you the new one

You needn't to wait for the paper IL,print your email notification is alright.And take this printed IL to go for the medical check.
