No problem.

Main embassy is not at lahore , Main embassy is at islamabad.

Islamabad is on red alert , highest security in islamabad.

Islamabad embassy will continue to work , more than 1000 armed americans are there at islamabad embassy to secure it , backed by islamabad police and pakistani army.

Islamabad is sealed.

troops on islamabad airport and checkposts across the city.

No dumper and trucks allowed to enter the city.

As said by president barack obama , there is a threat from local al queda linked groups.

they can hit any embassy with truck full of explosives.

but islamabad is impossible target for terrorists.

Rep Gutierrez: 40-50 House Republicans are found in favor of CIR (8/8/2013).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zEDc0nDDS0

.

.

.

and a day later, as if Gutierrez affirmed this with President Obama,

.

.

.

President Obama: "Absolutely certain" Senate CIR could pass the House if voted on now (8/9/2013).

http://nbclatino.com/2013/08/09/rep-gutierrez-enough-votes-to-pass-immigration/

And...

New Democrat Coalition: "if House does not introduce a comprehensive bill package by September 30th, the coalition will introduce its own" (8/2/2013).

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/02/new-democrat-coalition-immigration_n_3696937.html

What bill, exactly, then? I have a feeling that this is a carbon-copy of the Senate's CIR bill. Believe it or not, Sen. Reid hasn't officially submitted the Senate's CIR to the House yet (for reasons not clarified, perhaps because the bill could be called 'unconstitutional' for its revenue-raising nature per revenue-origination clause. At any rate, Senate's CIR bill can't be discharged because it's technically not in the House).

So why would they do this? I'm thinking discharge petition could (who knows!) be the answer:

Rep. Pelosi (House Democrat leader): "Democrat House considering a discharge petition for immigration reform" (7/23/2013).

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/312749-pelosi-says-democrats-weighing-immigration-reform-discharge-petition

So this is my thinking: the New Democrat Coalition just might introduce the copy of the Senate's CIR bill, send it to Judiciary Committee, discharge it (with signatures from majority Democrats + minority Republicans totaling 217), and vote on it with the pro-CIR Republican votes. If that happens, the Senate's CIR bill goes to the president's desk for signature.

So the discharge petition just might be possible as early as this November, folks (since voting on floor can happen only after 30 days since the successful discharge petition). I personally think conference would be safer ultimately, but whatever that happens faster would be the best for us for sure!

many thanks for the link..! Does it mean that CSPA age gets locked once the interview has been done before retrogression?

They didn't mention regarding interviewed cases but they had stated like this:

"Applicant is under 21 using his or her adjusted age and then filed for adjustment of status during the one-year window before visa retrogression." (which is applicable to you)

"The subsequent visa retrogression will not affect that child; his or her 2A status is locked in. It does not matter when the visa becomes available again or how long it takes to complete the adjustment process."

So, I think you are CSPA covered as per my understanding.

PD: 25 Sept 2001

Interview scheduled on 21 Jan 2014 (Canceled)

Waiting for new interview date....
